Documenting a Day



Upon my completion of this assignment, it made me more knowledgeable about Microsoft applications. Majority of my time is spent working on word processors so I am fairly familiar with how to operate it. This function is best used for writing reports and essays. The spreadsheet on the other hand is great for representing data. Unfortunately I am not extremely familiar with excel so it was a bit difficult to operate. I learned how to create a diagram by just selecting the data that I already had. This was very beneficial because I usually make my charts from scratch. Lastly, PowerPoint is something that I also use regularly. Due to me having to host classes at times I use this application to make presentations.

The application software that I felt was most relevant for documenting my day was the word processor. This application was more beneficial to me because I was able to add background information. It was also something that I could do throughout the course of my day. Excel on the other hand was something that I had to complete after my day was over. This application software is great to use in order to show the statistical value of each task. Nevertheless, word was the best application for documenting my day.

The presentation application is cost effective and easy to use. This application presents you with multiple templates to reorganize your powerpoint. A scenario where PowerPoint would be the best at would be a last minute presentation. You can create bullet points and add pictures. One thing that I also admire about this application is that as long as I have a picture, I can go into more detail in my speech rather than writing a lot of words. The excel application on the other hand is most effective when showing data. A situation that I would use this processor is if I have to turn in a report at work that shows statistical values. Finally, the word processor application is best used for writing a paper no matter the time that is in need of background information. Overall I enjoyed completing this assignment and found Microsoft Word to be the most effective.

Computer systems are vulnerable to each kind of threat due to software and hardware designed flaws. The lack in these areas expose the computers to all sorts of threats. Technology advancement  is continuous due to the world's dependability on technology.
