Computers in the Workplace

 

The industry that I have chosen to write about is sales. What is sales you may ask? Well sales is the term that is used to describe all activities involved in selling a product and or being of service to a person of interest. I am personally invested in the industry because my dream job is to own multiple properties and rent them out. Yes, my plan is to let my money work for me and get my mortgages paid off while also making a little extra money off the top. I have met a numerous of people who are in the ring of selling and renting out homes most of which are military. Being that they are military it is important for them to be able to sale, take care of and manage these properties from a far. People uses apps now such as Zillow and apartemnets.com to help market. The housing market right now is so high that people are making two to three times what their houses are actually worth.

This is where the information technology knowledge plays a role. Information technology is the use of computer and just all around knowing how they function. Being able to get online and market the products you have is important for employees in this type of environment to be computer literate. Technology is advancing everyday and its just going to continue to advance. For instance people can now buy cars by a simple touch of a button on a phone from Carvana.

Overall in the future ten years down the line I predict that not only will technology improve but the sales industry will rely on it way more than now.  I don't agree that humans will be flushed out and the world will only depend on technology because their will always have to be someone to create some code to make the technology operate as needed.

Computer systems are vulnerable to each kind of threat due to software and hardware designed flaws. The lack in these areas expose the computers to all sorts of threats. Technology advancement  is continuous due to the world's dependability on technology. There are a lot more vulnerabilities stored in computers such as having weak passwords, and failing to update firewalls to protect the device.
